helpful suggestions

I typically fish for panfish and will set up a tip up with a sucker minnow hoping to catch a pike cruising by. I have caught zero pike this year (but I have caught a couple of LM bass)which tells me i don't know what I'm doing... My typical set up is a tip up on the weed edge, with a live sucker suspended just of the bottom (hooked just under the dorsel fin)... I'll take any suggestions...

thanks for your help..

when fishing pike theres no certain level couple feet off bottom, half way down reguard less of depth, sometimes just under ice remember pike allways look up so better to high than deep they will come up to a bait,u will from time to time catch bass on suckers or shiners usually in shallower water 10 ft and less, just experement every day and lake is different
