Webb Lake/Danbury lake conditions

I have a question for anyone who lives in the area. What are the conditions on area lake surfaces. I have a cabin on a small lake in the area and I was thinking of taking my kids up for some ice fishing. I just do not want to get stuck. Is it driveable or is it sloppy and full of snow? Thanks, Joe

as of a week ago - too much snow on the lakes to drive off the road. we've gotten over a foot of wet snow since then too, and a week ago the ice was sinking. the ice is still safe and all, but bring waterproof boots - you'll be standing in an inch or so of water.

i haven't been over to webb, but i drove by mudhen, banach, and crooked on the way to work today - all were open. if its not open yet, it should be close.
