Fishing for a Cure

The 2nd annual Fishing For a Cure multi-lake tournament will be held on January 31st. This is a multi-lake tournament which means you can fish any lake as long as you get to the weigh in between 5 and 8. The weigh in will be at the Hitterdahl, MN Community Center and there will be a full bar and chili.

The raffle drawing and prize ceremony will be at 8:15 with Karake following the drawings at 9:00.

Prizes will be awarded for the largest Pike, Walleye, Panfish, and Bass. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for youth under 12. You don't need to be present to win any of the door prizes which include a Vexilar FL-12, Strikemaster auger, and a 1000 watt generator.

No speared or frozen fish will be accepted.

All proceeds from this tournament go to the Roger Maris Cancer Center.

Tickets are available for purchase at the Clarks station in Hawley, the Hitterdahl bar and Pump-n-More in Hitterdahl, and the Garden Hut in Fargo.

There should be some available soon at Sportsmans Warehouse in Fargo, Chumley's in Moorhead, and at the Spotlite bar in Hawley.
