I personaly have never fished Razorback. I do have a friend that does fish it. From what I understand, the lake is very clear and has minimal weed growth, makeing for a somewhat tough open water fishery. The DNR does have a stocking program in effect for walleye and musky. A lot of walleye fingerlings are planted to increase survival rates. As far as fishing? I just got back yesterday from Winni and Red lake in Mn. I haven't hit the water in Wi. as much as I would've liked to so far. Last week I fished Lake Minoqua and Big Arbor Vitae. Minoqua gave up quite a few panfish to include some decent crappie. Big Arb perch were on the feed, but size was lacking. The walleye bite was a big goose egg....Otto, I see you're from Wausau, so am I. Maybe a fishing trip or something in the future? Take care, Mark/can it be luck?

Otto-Man, I attended the FM Ice Leaders event on Winni. this past weekend. Had a good day fishing and would've took the third place position with a weight of 9lb 8ozs. One wrong turn and I was stuck in a small snow drift which caused me to be 4 minutes late for the weigh in, DQed. My tournament bag included a tournament limit of 10-perch, 2-16" walleye, and 1-30" northern. Oh well, I had a great time and was able to meet many wonderful people. The perch bite on Winni was great, walleye and northern were on the slow side. Besides Winni, we also made it to Red lake. Crappies were slow but we managed to catch some big gators! A 40", 39", 37", as well as a few smaller ones. As usual, the perch and walleye were pesky and abundant. As much as I love WI., MN. is tough to beat when it comes to fishing, I just wish it was a little closer!....PS: Phone number is on the way. Take care, Mark
