I DID NOT WUSS OUT! Had a bit of a melt down at the last minute but with the help of my sisters (God love 'em) and my new 2 best friends Zanex and Vodka I made it to New York City and had an incredible time! I will post pictures but I have to go through them. I was thinking I wasnt a very good photographer because I only took about 600 pictures. I will try to get some up today.

I'm not sure if I can do it again. The flight up probably was the best smoothest flight and LANDING possible. The flight home I thought God was playing with me by shaking the plane and then slamming us on the runway. If the flights up and back were switched around I would have walked home.

Way to go Girl!!!! I have been to New York City twice, drove out there both times and had a friend drive us around the city. Awesome place to visit but man I could not live there!!! I didn't get to tour the Statue of Liberty, but saw the Twin Towers, St Patricks Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, battery park, times square and a lot of other neat places.

We didnt get to the statue either. We were there but they said it was a 2.5 hour wait and it was 28 degrees snowing and lets face it a couple Florida girls didnt stand a chance.

This is Ground Zero: You used to be able walk through there but they have started construction and you cant even see in there.

Nice pictures DeeDee - when I was there Ground Zero was surrounded by chain link fence, but you could see into the area. It's a pretty amazing spot.

glad you "did it" DeeDee - I use to fly alot for work and vacations - hated it. I haven't flown since 9/11 - and am not planning on it.

Funny Glenn, I would love to go ice fishing, I will probably never go gator hunting but not out of the question, and as for flying a plane, I would rather eat my own arm.
