Need Crock Pot Elk Roast recipe

I have an Elk Roast and was looking to maybe combine it with a pork roast in the crock pot. I've found that this darn tasty as I have done it with bear roasts. Does anyone have any recipes or ideas on seasonings, etc to use. I don't want to dump a can of soup over it either.
