Depth finder GPS combo question

I am looking to buy a depth finder GPS combo for somewhere in the neighborhood of $400. In that price range I have noticed there are some in color with just a standard GPS and some in Black and white that a memory card can be added inorder to get the GPS to show the lake depths. I was wondering for the money which is the better option?

I'd contact Dave at Pro Fishing Supply and see what deals he has. There should be some on clearance to make room for the '09's that are due out soon.
