Need a gas tank for a magnum 3 49cc Strikemaster

Ive emailed strikemaster about my need for a new tank on my old auger. They replied that Tecumseh no longer makes that type of tank and they dont have any in stock.

Im looking for an old style tank, the kind that is held on the power head with 2 spring clips.

Any ideas?

The SM site has a list of all their authorized service centers nationwide. You could call around to some of these places and see if they might have one sitting around on a shelf they would sell and mail to you.

Call up Central Power Distributors in Anoka. They should have it at a more reasonable price than the Tecumseh Dealers

I got one at D Rock Center in New Brighton a couple of years ago for my old Mag III, you could try them. Mine has the springs that hold it on too.
