redtrucks
Can anyone tell me how you troubleshoot the temp control switch for the cab temp? Blend door is good but when adjusting the temp from hot to cold the air coming out of the vents will be hot instead of cold. The next time I try it, it seems to work fine. fishing tech
You may have a broken blend door.
redtrucks
I have replaced the blend door. The motor that controls the blend door is not turning the door all of the time. I either have a bad control switch or motor.
Shack
Tough call. It could be the ATC head its self or the motor. As far as trouble shooting or scanning, I would figure a WDS or equivalent aftermarket scan tool would be needed, short of pinpoint testing if the concern was occurring. Scott K
I dont know if this will work on an 01, but it does on a 02! If it has EATC.There is a self test, push "off and floor at the same time, let up then push auto" it will self test, any code but 88 or 888 is a trouble code.
