Midwinter battery check

OK... so I know it's not midwinter yet but...I went to the garage and started up my Ultra classic to let the battery charge and run some gas through the lines....oooh the sound of that V-Twin rumbling really got my juices flowing to ride again.

Thing is I went to start the Wife's Superglide and it barely turned over. Had to pop the seat off and hook the charger up to it and let er charge a bit before it would start. Just wanted to remind everyone to either check their batteries, get a battery tender or take their batteries in so you aren't shopping for a new battery next spring when you should be out riding.

Srarted both mine and the wifes bike today. They were both fine. Actually took mine for a ride! Was a bit chilly, I should have probably had something thicker than a wind breaker on! I was working in the garge and that is all that I needed at the time! Had to be careful and swing from side to side on the street to avoid the ice. Welll I only went around the block but it was a ride none the less! Take care and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo

I think every guy think he's a bad a** now and then but you're more of a man than I'll ever be driving your bike after Christmas in Minnesota. I bet your neighbors think you are crazy! I think mine would have me committed to the looney bin if I took off down the road on my bike. The men in the little white coats would be coming to take me away! I do envy you though. I am sure itchin to ride.

Great idea to remind everybody to check their battery. I think that a battery tender is a great idea to help keep that upper edge on your battery and maybe make it last a little longer than it normally would.

I am sooooooo ready to get the bikes out and start riding again... I am soooooooooooooooo ready.....
