Heading up to Hayward in late Sept to fish this lake. Any suggestions?

good lake. it's deep and you are going at a good time. quick strike rigs with BIG suckers would be my first choice. 15" minimum (if you can find them). jerkbaits are good also. suicks, jakes, burts. i've moved fish with bucktails that time of the year depending on the temp. good luck and let us know how you do.
