Hi!
Went fishing yesterday with my eight year old on Deer Lake in Polk County. Tried Muskie first and he had one follow and I had one hit and boil the water out about forty feet from the boat.
We took a break and tried for some crappies. Many of the crappie we caught still hadn't spawned! This has to be the latest spawn in years. We kept five for a meal and tossed the rest back. The biggest were only around ten inches.
How's anyone else doing?
