Polaris Magnum fuel tank leak??

I have a 1995 Polaris 425 Magnum and overnight it started leaking fuel all over my garage floor. I can see it dripping from the fuel shut off valve on the bottom of the tank. I shut it off but it keeps dripping.

What would cause this to start leaking so badly? The cold weather?

Do I need to have the valve replaced?

It is so froze up from plowing that I cannot get it to start now and I am afraid to put a heater in the garage with it because of the fuel leak.

Any helpfull thoughts would be appreciated.

Drain the fuel put some air in there and see where the leak is
