Have used the Lowrance M68C for 1.5 seasons in both winter & summer. The GPS is great for marking your waypoints which makes it extremely easy to locate your previous hot spots. Winter fishing can be done in either flasher or line chart mode (I prefer this over flasher). I also have a transom mount transducer for using the unit on your boat for your summer fishing.
