Thought I would throw a report in here on Lake Onalaska. People are fishing sunfish on both sides of the airport now. Its shallow there, 2-3 feet deep only. Ice varies from 2-5 inches. Quite a few areas opened up with the big winds and so the ice thickness is not uniform. No one is fishing the lake yet but probably will be this week end. Catching some sunnies, slow but perfect eating size.
