Venison pasty

The thread about canned venison has got me drooling a little. This year I thought I'd take some of my venison and try making up a pasty or two. That's a meat and veg pie for those of you from the southern part of our state.

Any good recipes for venison pasty you'd like to share?

All I can remember is using ground venison with shredded vegetables like carrots, potatoes, onion, rutabagas, etc.
