Jeremy airjer W
I was wondering if anyone has heard how the crappies are doing on Red Lake? I'm planning a weekend up there this winter. I never been on the lake so some advice on where to get on or pleasant experiences with resorts would be appreciated.Eagles may fly, but weasels never get sucked into jet engines! Matt Johnson
Red Lake is still an excellent crappie fishery. We had good success out there last winter for the ICE Series, and the fish are still big. A lot of 12-14 fish and occasional 15 inchers. ------------------Good Fishin,Matt JohnsonPro Staff CoordinatorFishingMN SponsorsMatt Johnson Outdoors[email protected]Guided Ice Fishing and More... Animal
It depends on the day. Of the 10 to 12 days I fished it last year 50% were limit days, 30% we caught crappie and walleye all day, 20% is was terrible. Best crappie fishing is on a cloudy day after 3:00 PM. ------------------If your are lucky enough to go fishing; you are lucky enough.
