Digital Camera

To all camera experts,

I am looking to buy my girlfriend a digital camera for Christmas and was looking to spend around $200-$300 and was just looking for some help to find a good camera. I want a camera that is thin. It is mostly going to be used for shooting around the house, bar, and on the lake of course. I have been looking at three cameras but would like more help (other cameras) and/or comments on the cameras I have picked out.

1. Nikon - Coolpix 5610, 10 megapixals, 4x zoom - $279.00

2. Olympus - 1010, 10.1 megapixals, 7x zoom - $249.00

3. Panasonic - Lumix DML-FS20, 10.1 megapixals, 4x zoom - $208.00.

My only comment would be to knock down the Mp count to 8 instead of 10. The more pixels that get packed on those small sensors, the worse the digital noise becomes.
