Some help from you experts

I put down sod in my backyard three weeks ago yesterday. I was told by the sod company that I would not have to do anything to it until spring. I am finding a few weeds coming up in some spots and am now woundering if I should try to take care of these now? If so what should I use? Any suggestions would be great.

It depends on what kind of weeds they are. Most of the weeds are going to die off with the frost. Since your grass is so new I wouldn't want to put any new herbicide on there because the roots are still taking hold and are very new.

I would say if you can pull them, go right ahead, but I would avoid using any herbicide on new sod.

You won't want to spray herbicides on that new sod until you've mowed it at least 3 times.
