hanson
Well, I've gone and done it. Was checking out Strikemaster's HSOforum for some reason today and found a new auger. Can anybody tell that I'm still not a big fan of summer.Anyway, the Lazer 224 has 4 lazer blades!! Not 2, not 3, but 4!! Just when I thought my 2 bladed Lazer was the best thing going, they go and make one they claim is 'faster'!
wallydiver
That will be interesting. I bought the 3 blade last year and had a lot of problems with it. I talked to strikemaster, went down there and they replaced it with a nice 10". I'm very happy with it. By the way, I hate summer too. Bring on the ice! Bruce Mosher
I was on the Ice at LOW last winter doing Promotional shots with On Ice Tour and they pulled out the 4 blade Strike Master auger and it was pretty sweet. The ice I was trying to drill into was pretty chunky (last ice of the season) and it had a few problems with the blade catching. But they told me it really cut nice on normal ice! Looks like a nice auger. Bruce Mosher------------------Bruce Mosher,www.icebusterbobbers.com
LocalGuide
Geez and I though my 3-blade was a animal at cutting ice. Wow 4 blades, that would stink to clean all of them if they froze up! Looks like the styles augers keep on going forward and forward each year. ------------------And keep those hooks sharp!
