LV,

I fished Crystal Lake in Burnsville on 3/9. I walked out from the park on the east side. The ice creaked a little right by the beach but stopped once I got out deeper. I fished in about 15 feet about half way out between the beach and the island. Ice was over 17inches(length of my scooper). Marked a lot of fish suspended in about 10 feet. Caught a bunch of small crappies, and one decent sized one. I would bet that the ice near the beach might be a little shakey after the rain last week.
