where is this thing located on motor? and any way to test it?

Its right next to the coil pack.

There is an ohm spec which I don't know off hand. More often than not when you pull them out (be careful because they can break off in the block) they are typically cracked.

What kind of symptom are you having?

That and if you do replace it , you will need to do a ckp learning procedure to the truck! You will need a scan tool for this!
