tweedlap
In the last couple of days, bird hunters, hunting about 100 miles northest and northwest of Saskatoon, Sask reported the first real migration of snows arrived.Great population of mallards in the area. They report the main problem is having to wait until it is very light out because of the number of pintails flying with the mallards.tweed
snowgoose
Right on time again this year. When I could afford to go to Saskatchewan we would plan on being there September 15th as the first flight of snows would be coming down.It was always a blast being the first in line to get a crack at the juvies.I talked to a cousin in Southern Manitoba the other night. Sounds like he saw his first snow of the year also. It was in with 1500 Canandas. Only 25 days until I get to Manitoba. Can't wait.
