Radarsonics Transducer: Ya ever heard of this?

Howdy all...

I uncovered an old transducer today. 1960's vintage I think. The only info on the ducer is "RADARSONICS" and below that is stamped "50KHZ". It's a square puck style transom mounted model. The size is 2.75 x 3 x 1.25 thick. It has quite a long cable with a steel, 3 conductor female plug, that would attach to a receiver(?) with a threaded steel slip collar.

Does anyone out there have any info on this little gizmo?
