I have an older bow mount motorguide trolling motor 34lbs. thrust. It seems to have lost some of its thrust even though I have a new battery for it. It is a 5 speed and I also notice that there is no difference in thrust between the 3 and 4 speed setting. Anyone experience anything close to this with older electric trolling motors?
We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there, but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
