planting inside

I live in an apartment complex and am thinking of planitning something like peppers or tomatoes on a pot or two inside due to being in an apartment. any ideas/suggestions on doing this? any ideas on what else would be worth trying out growing inside as well?

AeroGarden seems to be ideal but $$.....

you can do that inside...just make sure you have plenty of sunshine coming thru windows, and have a green thumb. I havent done it myself...unless you have a patio or balcony then u can do that in a big pot outside on the patio/balcony
