boatfixer
Finally found the kid a car that might work. A couple of minor issues and some TLC are in order however. Both the anti lock brake light and air bag light are on. What are the possible causes? Anti lock I know can be as simple as a dirty sensor, right? Jeremy airjer W
ABS common problems are wheel speed sensors, Cracked exciter rings on the drive axles, corroded wiring/connections.The air bag could be anything from a broken clock spring to a failed crash sensor. There where a couple of years that had an updated harness to the passenger airbag. What engine? If its the 3.4 get rid of it! if its the 3.1 keep a close eye on the intake gasket. If not dealt with in a timely manner you can potentially ruin the motor!
boatfixer
It's the 3.1. What should I be watching for as far as the intake?
Jeremy airjer W
Leaking coolant from the lower intake in the area under the throttle body and milky coolant. Typically the external leak leak will precede the internal leak. Once the coolant gets milky it ruins the main bearings. Typically that doesn't show up until after a few months have past but it will.
