Cigar burn in the carpet

Does anyone know how to repair a cigar burn on the carpet of my NEW TP170 boat?

It is on the gunnel (Bow) and is the size of a dime.

Is it possible to shave some carpet in one of the compartments and glue it to the burn.
I have done it in my pickup to cover them up.

There's a ton of vendors out there that do this kind of repair. Contact a local auto detailing shop to find out who they use. They might even do the repair in-house. It's a very simple process and works quite well.
