Fish hook Lake

I saw an ad for an upcoming tourney for fish hook lake, did a search here but havent found anything. Is it comparable to the Brainerd tourney, or alot less people. Saw a new truck was the #1 prize, thinking of going. I dont even know where the lake is yet

its in park rapids, a buddy of mine won a truck 3 years ago, not sure of date i will find out

The date is February 7th. It's not as big as the Brainerd one but they do have over $110,000.00 in prizes. They raffle off a new F150 (taxes and licenses paid) and about 6 or 7 new Artic Cat four wheelers (taxes paid). Not sure where you can get tickets, but I do know that it is put on by the Park Rapids VFW, maybe you could find a link on the Park Rapids CVB for more info. Tickets are $30.00. Hope this helps.

In past years, the American Legion sponsered the contest.

Get there early.

There is a big crowd and you have to park in a field and ride a school bus to the lake.
