just got a '98 outback wagon, what advise do you guys have in finding the best deal on a hitch for it?

If the dealer offers one they are the best as far as install. Typically they will come as a kit, Hitch, harness, and any other bits and pieces.

Minnesota Hitch in Ramsey (across from Plants N Things) has always had fair pricing and done good work (a lot of auto dealers use them).

Also you could try automotive concepts in ER. Might be pricey, and I think he does hitch’s.

If you are mechanical, Rigid Hitch in Burnsville has some decent prices, and they do install them as well!
