Last Fall I turned on my Garmin GPS 72, noticed it was searching for satalites as normal, took my eyes off of it to do some walking around, looked at it again, and it had a thin vertical black line on the screen. All buttons were non-responsive. Removed batteries, waited a few minutes, re-installed batteries, and nothing. New batteries later that day, nothing. Nine months later, nothing. Nothing, no display, no signal that it is working in any way.
This has been my only problem ever with the unit.
Anybody got any ideas, or had something like this happened to them?
