Max Bats made in MN

If you are ever passing through Brooten, MN on Hwy 55, stop in to the Max Bat factory and ask for a tour. It's quite an operation they have there.

I stopped in there last week on my way through town and got the tour. Great people working there. All seven of them. Pretty impressive how they make the bats.

Is MLB still lookint at maple bats? Catchers and umpires were not too happy claiming that they shattered more often.

Not trying to punk on a good company, just curious.

Actually, while talking with the guy at Max Bats, he thinks that MLB is going to up the minimum diameter of bat handles, to stop them from shattering as much.
