Manitou Muskie

Hi. How has the muskie been on the lower manitou and the narrows up by beaverhead the past couple of weeks? I will be up there the 19-26 next week. Thanks!

The muskie fishing has been pretty good despite the terrible weather. From what I am seen they are still in transition, they aren't in their summer spots just yet. If we get some good weather they will be on the move.

I would be fishing the points and cabbage edges adjacent to their summer spots.

Has anybody had any luck on the manitou throwing double cowgirls and bulldawg pounders?

nope. Just the oppposite-small stuff for us.

I agree with mskyfshntchr, it has been all small stuff this year. I havn't even heard of a fish being caught on something bigger than 6".

We are getting them, just all on small stuff. The biggest two of the season have been on pink jigs with pink twister tails fishing for bass.

Go small until th water starts to warm up.
