Here are some of the lakes I have fished in the past

Osakis a very long time ago

Park Rapids area:

Belletaine

Upper & Lower Bottle

8th Crow Wing

3rd Crow Wing

Ice Cracking (closer to DL) very good success, no public launch resort kinda pricey

Round (1/4 mile down the road from Ice Cracking, moderate success)

If anyone has any suggestions shoot them out there, I would like to hit a lake that doesn't have such tight slot limits so I can keep some fish to eat.

My grandparents had a cabin on Ice Cracking. I fished that lake almost every Tuesday evening for many years in the summer when I was growing up.

This is my hubby's favorite lake, we always seemed to have good luck there. We haven't fished it in years though, but many very fond memories there.

do you know anything about sugarbush lake near dl? my grandparents went there for years and did well with sunfish. just thought id ask.
