In an earlier post, I had shown a pic of what I thought was simply a yellow lily.

As it turns out I was dead wrong. In fact, although this species is indeed a member of the lily family, it's true name is the Bullhead Lily. My wife recently bought me a hand guide on Manitoba flowers. That said, hopefully I won't screw up like that again any time soon!
