Crappies going Hot!

Slammed some nice fish today with the wife. We started shallow pulling spinners looking for a few eyes and trying to locate huge schools of panfish. We ended up in 8'-11' with 11 being the most productive depth. The fish were just at the edge of the first break. Most tinkling males with a few un spawned females mixed in. They were hitting worms, spinners, cranks, and jigs. I would say the most fun was a grank pulled at 1.7 mph cause when they hit the lure it got crushed. Most fish at a dressed up jig. The biggest fish ate the spinners. If you have some time they are putting on the feed bag!!!!
