Rivers to Kayak in around the Gunflint Trail

Hi I'm a casual kayaker and like to get my kayak on rivers. I go up the gunflint every year and kayak around a lot of the lakes. My question is are there some good rivers to kayak in around the Gunflint Trail? No class IV rapids please. Just a nice river to paddle down on a nice afternoon. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I dont do the white water kayaking thing yet. But there are some along the north of Grand Marais that are supposed to be decent.
