Baits of choice and what to use ?

I would have to say my choice bait is a jumbo golden shinner. My set up for that would have to be size 6 bleeder hook red in color and a one to two ounce weight. Any other suggestions?

For Flats

I like to use a lively 7" bullhead or creek chub, on a 10/0 Gami Octo hook and 3-5oz weights depending on current.

For Channels

I prefer cut bait, such as cut sucker minnows, red horse sucker fillets, shad, or bullhead, bait size from 1"-4" or even whole shad. 2/0-6/0 Gami Circle hooks and 1-5oz depending on current also.

Almost forgot,,, Khale hooks work good for either species and hook size depends on bait size. Mainly 9/0 for Flats and 2/0-6/0 for channels
