kensom
My son's key is stuck in the ignition of his 2006 Grand Prix. Any ideas how to get it out?
Macgyver55
Is that in the dash or the column? if its the column try rocking the steering wheel back and forth while turning the ignition. Sometimes when the car is shut off the steering leaves pressure on the ignition tumbler so it wont turn easily. If thats a dash mount switch, they can prematurely wear from having a bunch of extra stuff on the key chain. Thats a whole nuther problem.... Jeremy airjer W
Haven't had any stuck in yet? Plenty of them broken off in the tumbler and even more that would no longer turn. I'm pretty sure that they are in the dash on an '06. Typically when they don't work they get replaced! These are real fun to get out when they no longer work!! I would bet you have noticed lately that the key would not turn unless you "jiggled" it a little?
