Pail Scaler Thoughts!!!

What does everyone think of these gadgets? How long do you run yours per amount and size of fish you are scaling?

ive had one for 10 years and love it. i only use it for sunfish though. it depends on how many fish and the amount of water you put in. usually no longer than 3 minutes. stop and check the fish after 2 minutes and go from there. practice practice, after i while you should get the hang of it.

Go to long and you have the bass-o-matic

never had that problem. sunfish are to good eating not to be paying attention to what you are doing.
