What Year Is It?

I have a boat and motor that I need to know what year they are?The motor is a 115 HP Merc.1150 serial no.3113520 The boat is a Crestliner model 3450412,Any help with this info would be GREAT!! THANKS!!

Ya it might. I don't recall off the top of my head excactly what year they started doing it, but the last 2 digits of the hull ID number indicate the year.

I know the last 2 numbers on the boat serial number is the year it was made, and they have been doing it since the early 70's for sure it not sooner.
