Kakagon Slough Tips Needed...

I would like to take my 16' boat over to the slough for some walleye's, does anyone have any tips? Should I troll crawlers on a spinner rig, look for weeds, or deeper holes and cast? Any info would be appreciated - THANKS.

Anytime looks for walleyes on huge flats out here, its best to troll. Right now, either being stick baits or harnesses. I would opt for a floating harness in that area and stick baits. There is some new weed growth already starting in that area as I was down there the other day. 4 to 6 FOW always seemed best in the past. Watch out for SNAGS!!

Am sure there are some fish up in the Kakagon still too, where jig and minnow, or jig and half a crawler would get you bit.
