Cinnamon teal in MN

Its quite far from its normal range to the west but on saturday I had a drake cinnamon teal fly right past me at the cabin. The cabin is on the crow wing river between Motley and Pillager. Pretty cool. I hope he sticks around for awhile.

I saw one around here (NE South Dakota) a couple weekends ago. I had never seen one before, but after looking it up and such there was no doubt it was a Cinnamon Teal. It was a very pretty bird to say the least.

They really are unmistakable when you see one up close. What a trophy that would make.
