Hey guys i am moving up to that area for college next year and i love to smash geese i blow a real thang by TG and shoot a benelli SBI cant wait to get up to the north woods thanks in advance

There are some fields that get honkers but permission might be tough to get, otherwise there are lots of good public water hunting on the mississippi and other areas lakes/rivers.

If you don't get permission on some good fields look for rice lakes you'll find some there. Good Luck.

if i read your location right you are from Illinois? a little FYI that could save you a little money. from page 22 of 2007 regs:

Students

• Nonresident, full-time students at a Minnesota educational institution who live in the state during the school year may purchase a resident Small Game, Deer, or Bear License with proof of student status.

This applies for fishing also
