Duck Numbers

I know it's early but I was wondering what people are seeing for breeding numbers in their area. It is raining here again, and the amount of water in this area has me more excited that we may have a good year for duck production in Minnesota. Although I know there are other factors. The water level is very high and I'm seeing good breeding numbers here anyway. Let's here some reports, I know I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Around here, lots of mallard pairs, a few wood ducks and I saw some hooded mergansers today, three males one female. I'm not sure if those are nesting yet or if they plan on moving on. Lots of baby geese around but I've yet to see some baby ducks.
