How close are you to them fires??? Looks like Brevard Co. is getting hit really bad.

Brevard and Volusia are both on fire. I'm not to close about 30 miles give or take a few so I'm not effected by them. Yet. A few years ago Lake, Volusia and a few others were burning. I was really close to them,(less then 10 miles) my car looked like it had an inch of snow on it from the ash and breathing was next to impossible. I really feel for these people out there. What about your daughter. The winds should be pushing some of that smoke her way. How is she doing?

Mom talked to her...a couple years ago, they were 1 1/2 miles from her, these are close, but not that close. You need some of our rain.

Your not kidding we need rain. I'll have to take a picture of a "lake" but my house. You cant even call it a pond now.

Here is a picture of what used to be the lake at the end of my street. The water used to come up to where I was standing. If you can see the cranes in the water it's not even knee deep.
