I am going to be buying a new rod and reel this week and am not sure where to go, Sportsmans Warehouse, Gander Mountain or Cabelas. Anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find good service and a decent price between these three?

It could start here on FM, if you're looking for product info, people will share what they know about what they have.

Go to whatever store is closest to you...

Your chain retailer like Cabela's or Gander Mountain will be a hit or miss for folks with good product knowledge. There's also Dick's Sporting Goods, Mills Fleet Farm, and Sports Authority. The folks at Thorne Bros or Joe's Sports will be better to assist you.
