gurkster
Three of us hunted 346D on a 640 acre farm near Rushford. We left home Thursday morning and headed back Sunday morning. We had some pretty bad rain for part of the hunt, but were still out in the woods for almost all of it. We heard very little gobbling this year, not sure if it was the time of year or the weather. All turkeys we saw were singles, with the exception of one double. We usually hear lots of gobbling and see turkeys in groups of 5 - 7 or so. Not sure why this year was so different. Anyway a good time and fun despite the weather and going home with out any birds. Always fun to be out.
