Solitary SandPiper??

I found these guys in the woods in a little water hole. From my book it looks like they are Solitary Sandpipers. I was using the white eye circle as a reference. Am I correct? There were three of the in the same hole.

It seems the "solitary sandpiper" was not so solitary. He/she had a few friends. I guess they get lonely too.

I think you found a new species, the "Social Sandpiper." Nearly identical to the Solitary except they congregate in small groups in woodland ponds....
