Kicker question..

I searched to see if this has been asked b4, did not find. So.. I have a 2005 merc. 9.9 4stroke longshaft kicker. It currently has a 4 blade power prop on it. I am woundering if the is a better prop that could bring my RPM's down a little and also help when I am fighting wind on the big lakes. I am not really looking to get 60mph out of this thing, but it seems I could get better controll of the boat with a better prop. I am not sure the pitch of it, it looks to be almost no pitch at all..

I'm sure you can get a higher pitched prop, but also understand that it will increase your trolling speed as well...

Yes, see the RPMS are up there to do the 1.8 that I usually hold. I have room to bring the rpm's down. This would increas the milage and I would be able to controll it a little better.

Ok... just wanted to make sure you were aware of that. You should be able to order a higher pitched prop for your application without too many problems.
